The QMS-052-06.75-H-D connector is classified as a Rectangular Connectors - Arrays, Edge Type, Mezzanine (Board to Board). This multi-pin interconnect system is designed to interface regularly spaced, edge-mounted components, originating and/or terminating in a standard array of two rows of 50 contact locations. It is a 2mm pitch, 2.75mm mated height, edge-type SMT connector with 50-pin Wire-to-Board configuration.

The QMS-052-06.75-H-D connector features header and socket contacts, with reliable electrical performance in high speed and high density applications. It has a box design for optimum shielding effectiveness and features signal contacts, board in and board out connections. It has a profile height of 2.75mm, contact strength of 35N minimum, current rating of 1.2A maximum at 20ºC, voltage rating of 500V, and operating temperature range of -30°C to 90°C. It is fully isolated and thermally insulated, allowing for high signal integrity. The mating area is also recessed to prevent contact damage, and the housing and contacts are both UL recognized. It is a RoHS-compliant connector.

The working principle of the QMS-052-06.75-H-D rectangular connectors – arrays, edge type, mezzanine (board to board) is based on the insertion of the contacts inside the board.
