The QSE-028-01-F-D-DP-A rectangular connector is an array edge type connector, which is particularly suitable for mezzanine (board to board) applications. Unlike traditional narrow mezzanine connectors, it features a wider configuration with more poles, making it well suited for more demanding applications requiring a higher density of contacts. The maximum rated current total is 28A, and the contact resistance is 5mΩ max.
It is made of UL 94V-0 rated nylon 6 with PBT. It is a two-piece design comprising a plug housing and a receptacle housing. The plug housing and the receptacle housing have two sets of pins and troughs which connect when the two parts are pushed together. This ensures a reliable connection with low contact resistance and high current carrying ability. The two parts are secured together with two screws which lock the two halves in place.
The QSE-028-01-F-D-DP-A connector has an operating temperature range of -40°C to +105°C and is rated to IP40 protection level (dust protection). It is also RoHS compliant and UL approved.
