QTH-020-02-C-D-DP-A is a rectangular connector that can offer a form of board to board connection. It works by providing electrical connection from one board to multiple boards within the system. The connector comes in two different versions, either through hole or surface mount, and features between two and four rows of contact points. Two distinct modules form the QTH-020-02-C-D-DP-A rectangular connector; an array contact and a dielectric. The dielectric is the plastic frame which provides the required electrical insulation between the contact points.

The array contact within the QTH-020-02-C-D-DP-A is machined from a strip of high grade copper and then plated with gold for increased reliability and electrical performance. The base material offers flexibility while the stiffener material that is bonded on to the surface of the frame offers additional rigidity to help prevent stress fractures and reduce the risk of electrical leakage or short circuitry.

The standard configuration of the QTH-020-02-C-D-DP-A is a single-row array contact connected to two rows of contacts on the dielectric. This configuration provides up to four rows of contact points in a 2x2 matrix which allows for multiple boards to be connected in a single system. For larger systems, the QTH-020-02-C-D-DP-A is available in up to four rows of contact points on the dielectric. The four rows of contacts are arranged in a 4x4 matrix which offers eight total contact points.

The edge type mezzanine configuration that the QTH-020-02-C-D-DP-A provides makes it an excellent choice for applications that require multiple boards to be connected in close proximity.
