Working Principle
The R0.5Z-1512 series DC-DC converter operates in a buck (step-down) configuration. It takes a higher input voltage and converts it to a lower voltage output, while maintaining power in the process. The host of the converter is always an integrated inductor-capacitor (LC) low-pass filter. In addition, there are three stages in the operation of the converter: power conversion, switching, and protection.
Power Conversion
