Working Principle: The R2S-2409/P-R DC-DC converter works by a closed loop current controlling method which is based on the following features:

The R2S-2409/P-R DC-DC module operates with two integrated buck converters in parallel to internally generate two positive and negative voltages with an adjustable output voltage in a wide range from 10V to 80V. The module is driven by an internal oscillator which controls the charging and discharging of the two output flying capacitors. The two buck converters are electrically isolated from each other and provide high efficiency up to 96%. The output voltage is adjusted by two feedback resistors that are connected to a voltage control terminal. The module has an integrated soft-start circuit to limit the inrush current during startup and a brown-out protection to protect the device from short-term voltage dips. In order to protect the module from overloading, it also has an over-current protection and thermal protection. In case of a short-circuit, the module has an over-voltage protection that will shut down automatically.
