Motor Driver Boards, Modules drive and control the operation of motors by providing a signal to the motor. The R7D-AP01L is a motor driver board that is used for a wide variety of applications in industry, robotics, research and development, home automation and even hobbyists.

The R7D-AP01L is based on the 3-phase sine-wave drive technique and is used for control and driving a variety of brushless motors and induction motors, such as Internal-Rotor-Type Brushless DC Motors (BLDC motors), AC Induction Motors (ACIMs) and Brushless-Servomotors, being able to control speed, direction and torque. Sine wave drive technology has a number of benefits over other techniques, as it can operate closer to the motor’s natural range of motion: improving the motor’s efficiency and making it easier to develop and control very fine motions. Additionally, this 3-phase driver board can be used for motor position control, where the motor is stopped in the exact desired position and the speed and acceleration values can be freely adjusted.

The R7D-AP01L can be used in a wide range of working environments, from the simplest to the most hostile, depending on the application. To support it in difficult conditions, the driver board is equipped with enhanced protection from short-circuit, overvoltage and undervoltage, temperature sensors, over-current protection, and shockproof features.

The motor driver board is also compact and light, featuring a compact design to allow easy installation without the need of additional space. The board consists of an integrated power stage circuit, power supply circuit, current loop and other silent running support circuitry.

The R7D-AP01L can control the motors through three different methods: two-wire control, three-wire control, and four-wire control.
