RC12-8-01 LS Working Principle

The RC12-8-01 LS Peltier module is based on the Peltier effect. This effect is the result of the passage of a current through two dissimilar conductivity metals. The current travels from the hot side of the module to the cold side due to the thermoelectric effect.

At the hot side, the current dissipates energy, creating heat. At the cold side, the current dissipates the heat, creating a cooling effect.
