The RDK-531 is a high-performance evaluation board developed for use with DC/DC, AC/DC (off-line) SMPS. It is designed to be a powerful and flexible platform from which to develop and evaluate the performance of different types of switching power supply. RDK-531 includes a wide range of components and features to support the development of high efficiency, low noise, and low cost power supplies.

The RDK-531 is designed with an advanced switching power supply test system for programming, monitoring, and evaluation. It has versatile and comprehensive features, such as a real-time output power measurement, real-time efficiency measurement, programmable soft-start and soft-stop, real-time ripple and harmonics monitoring, and full test environment with basic components and sample designs, to enable engineers to quickly measure the power supply performance of different applications.

At the heart of the RDK-531 is a three-phase full-bridge power converter, which is the key component of a DC/DC SMPS. The board integrates standard components, such as MOSFETs, capacitors, resistors, inductors, and control circuitry, to enable the design and development of a wide range of DC/DC and AC/DC SMPS. The board also features adjustable output voltage and current control, over-temperature protection, and fault protection.

The RDK-531 is capable of operating from a wide range of input voltages, from 12 to 48 VDC. It is also equipped with comprehensive programming and monitoring capabilities.
