Working Principle

The working principle of REC3-2409SRWZ/H2/A/SMD-R is based on an interleaved boost converter topology, the main components of which include two NMOS or PMOS transistors, a step-up converter and other circuitry. When the input voltage is applied to the converter, the first transistor will begin to switch on. This will cause current to flow through the inductor and thereby building up a magnetic field. As the current accumulates, the inductor will store energy and release it as the current begins to decrease. At this point, the second transistor will switch on for a fraction of a cycle and the magnetic field stored in the inductor will cause the current to flow through the second transistor and continue to build up. The process is repeated several times and the cascading effect will cause the voltage to be increased to the desired output voltage.
