Working Principle

In its steady-state operation, the REC3-4812DRWZ/H2/A/M/SMD/CTRL-R series converter switches a series of FET’s in such a way that input voltage is always in series with the output voltage. The control loop\'s duty cycle is delivered to the MOSFET switch via a PWM signal. During the “on” phase, current begins to flow from the input through the switch to the output. When the voltage on the output capacitor reaches the set point, the PWM algorithm turns off the switch. This method affords efficient power conversion and low output ripple voltage.
