The Pd is sandwiched between Tm and forms two junctions. The electrical current flows through the two junctions, and the temperature drop and heat are generated at each junction.

The Pd junction acts as the ‘cold’ side of the module and the Tm junction becomes the ‘hot’ side. The Pd junction produces a cooling effect on the module as the heat is transferred away by the Tm junction. As the electrical current enters the module, heat is developed at the Tm junction and transferred away from the paladium junction, resulting in cooling of the module.

The RH2-10-06L can be used in a variety of applications, including heat sinks, small electronics, and instrumentation.
