RM-1505S/HP is a DC-DC converter that offers a wide selection of input voltage, output voltage and polarity options. The power supply construction consists of a regulated +12V start-up circuit, a digitally controlled switch-mode power converter, an adjustable voltage positioning circuit, a post-regulator circuit, and a current limiting circuit .The switch mode converter utilizes a low-loss full bridge power circuit topology with a synchronous rectification, rectified filtering, and an internal wide-bandwidth oscillator suitable for EMC requirements.The RM-1505S/HP is designed to deliver stable, regulated output voltages at power up, acceleration, and at any other operating and load conditions. It has built-in safety features to optimally protect the load against continuous overload, short circuit fault conditions, overvoltage, and over temperature conditions. Its high efficiency makes it very suitable for application in solar power systems and other renewable energy systems, as well as in industrial control and instrumentation applications.The adjutable output voltage of the RM-1505S/HP is determined by the onboard digital controller. The controller performs a wide range of functions, including controlling the frequency of the internal oscillator, controlling the duration of the IN+ and IN- phases of the switching converter, regulating the output voltage, and controlling the internal current-limiting circuit.The output voltage of the DC-DC converter is also adjustable via an external connection.
