The RN-4678-PICTAIL is an evaluation platform and development board from Microchip that is part of their RF Evaluation and Development Kits, Boards product line. It contains a USB port, for connecting to a compatible host computer for programming and debugging, and has numerous headernozzles for connecting different breakout boards. Additionally, the board has a large number of I/O pins for connecting external peripheral devices. The board is also RoHS compliant.The RN-4678-PICTAIL board is powered by an external power supply, which is included in the kit.
