Through Hole Resistors are one of the oldest and most widely used components in electrical and electronic circuits. Generally chosen with power ratings of 1/4 W, 1/2 W or 1 W, they come in a variety of sizes, shapes and technologies.

The RN55C12R7BRE6 is a 12.7 Ohm through hole resistor from the RNC series from Vishay. It has a 5% tolerance and is designed for use in medical and military applications.
