Working Principle

The RP-1524S/P converter works on the principle of buck switching. This type of switching is characterized as a type of electrical power conversion in which the input voltage is converted to a lower output voltage through the use of an alternating switch. During buck switching, the switch is estimated to be on most of the time to increase the efficiency of the process. During this time, the current is allowed to flow through the switch and is controlled by an external resistor or capacitor.
