The RSF26HFP float sensor is a part of the level sensor family. This sensor is used to measure the level of a fluid and, depending on the model, the temperature of the fluid. Working Principle

The RSF26HFP uses a float mechanism to regulate its electrical response when it is placed in a liquid. The float is connected to an electrical circuit which is sensitive to changes in the environment due to the variations in the electrical conductivity of the liquid. The base station acts as a reference point to measure any changes in the electrical potential of the system. The circuit within the sensor registers changes in the simple response of the electrical system and relays them to the detection module in order to generate an output signal. This signal is then used to switch on and off devices, such as pumps or alarms, or to send data to a display instrument.

The working principle of the RSF26HFP can be explained by an electrical system that can be imagined as half of a complete circuit. When the sensor is placed in a liquid, it completes the circuit and triggers a change in the electrical potential. By calibrating the sensor based on the changes specific to a certain level, it is possible to monitor changes in the liquid.
