The RSM-114-02-T-D series is a family of rectangular connectors, headers, receptacles and female sockets designed to meet a wide variety of applications. The specification is a result of Densitron® circuitry components intensive research and development.
The components are intended for applications where strength, durability and reliable connections are required. For instance, telecom, industrial, transport, medical and other device applications.
The RSM-114-02-T-D comes in 3, 4 & 8 pin versions with different levels of voltage and power rating. Subminiature size, up to 10 Amps (max) current carrying capacity and a variety of keying options offer versatility and flexibility. To make them suited for applications in severe environments, the components are made of stainless steel and conform to the IP67 level of protection.
The male and female connectors are designed with two-piece latching style that can be easily attached and detached without the need for tools. The connector’s fastening screw provides greater strain relief, making reliable connections even in harsh conditions. The receptacles include robust snap-in latching and industry standard 3-point contact spring. This ensures secure and non-kinking connections even when the cable is subjected to vibration and continuous flexing.
The connectors can have up to eight pins and can carry up to 10 Amps in a single contact. Densitron® insulation resistance technology prevents the spread of signal interference, ensuring a quiet running system and 100% data transmission accuracy rates.
The RSM-114-02-T-D series is made to withstand extreme temperatures, from -40 to +125 degrees Celsius. This makes them ideal for applications in demanding environments, such as in the automotive and aerospace industry.
