The RSMs come in various sizes i.e. 3, 5, 8, 12, 16, 20 and 24 contacts and can be used both as receptacles and headers.RSM-128-02-L-D-K-TR is one such RSM which is 2 row satin finish connector with a 9.26mm height and 4.27mm width.

The RSMs have an optimized design with a highly reliable interchangeable terminal connection using press-fit contact termination and can be used to connect PCBs to each other, FPCs, connector cables etc. The terminals which are made of copper alloy, provide a good connection strength and maximum current carrying capacity. The RSMs are fitted with housings made of black thermoplastic UL94V-0, and have a working voltage of 500V AC and 250V DC.

The knurl mounting type fits into a standard 2.54mm hole making the connection reliable. The contacts are bent in contact with the housing and can be soldered or press-fitted for a suitable connection. The snaps on the terminal ensure the contacts cannot be easily misplaced or damaged during connection.
