Application Field
Data CollectionThe RT1205B7TR7 is designed for data collection for various applications including computer, ECU, airbag controllers, factory automation and machine tools. Working Principle
The RT1205B7TR7 is a high speed resistor array with 5 channels, each channel consists of 24 resistors with different resistance values. It is also configurable with either 6 or 8 bits of digital signals. The 24 resistors in each channel form a Resistor Network of 24 valued network, in which 8 of the resistors are used as select resistors, and 16 as taps. The tap resistors are placed at one end of the channel and the select resistors are placed in the middle of the channel. When the 6 or 8 bits of digital signal is applied to the resistor network, the tap resistors are selected according to the digital signal input, producing different outputs. This is used to give the resistor array its resistance value. The selected output from the resistor network is then connected to its load with a connection point, which is connected to the control terminals. As a result, when the resistance of the load changes, it is reflected in the tap resistors of the resistor array, thus making it possible to adjust the resistance of the resistor array according to the desired load resistance.
