The RT1250B6TR7 Resistor Network, Arrays is a low-profile, high-reliability, surface-mount package that is polyimide-coated and has an array of twelve resistors that provides reliable, temperature-compensated performance for precision applications. It provides good resistance to mechanical shock and vibration. It is suitable for applications including imaging systems, signal conditioning, industrial robotics and process control.

The RT1250B6TR7 Resistor Network, Arrays consists of six low-profile FR4/FR5 substrate panels that are connected together to form a single 12-resistor array. Each panel contains two resistors with a tolerance of ±0.2%. The resistance values of the resistors are printed on the top of the array. The resistors are also RoHS compliant.

The RT1250B6TR7 Resistor Network, Arrays is designed for users with demanding environmental conditions and operating principles. It is qualified to MIL-PRF-19504D specifications and offers a wide temperature range from -55°C to +180°C. It has a low-profile package size of 2.36 x 2.37 x 0.55 mm, which provides a significant reduction in board space. The resistor network has an extended wear-out-life and high vibration capability and is suitable for applications with high temperature and vibration requirements, such as space applications.

The working principle of the RT1250B6TR7 Resistor Network, Arrays is based on the principle of thermistor resistance. Thermistors are used to measure the temperature of a surface by measuring the change in electrical resistance of a thermistor with temperature. The thermistor is connected with two leads, one lead to measure the voltage across the thermistor and the other lead to measure the current through the thermistor.

The RT1250B6TR7 resistor network consists of twelve resistors in a 5-digital Bussed format and the 256-Ohm stable resistance elements are combined in a polyimide coating array to ensure that the resistance values remain stable across temperature. The resistors are also calibrated to ± 0.1% at room temperature and ± 0.2% over operating temperature range. The BCD interface provides accurate temperature compensation for temperature-sensitive applications by providing a temperature-stable buss between the twelve resistors.
