It has a built-in minimum on-time of 500 µ s to ensure stability over a wide operating input range. The device operates in a PWM/PFM control topology that provides a high efficiency up to 95% at a wide input range. Furthermore, it incorporates over-current protection (OCP), over-voltage protection (OVP), over-temperature protection (OTP), and under-voltage lockout (UVLO) to protect the converter from damage under fault conditions.The operating principle of the RW2-053.3D/H2/SMD DC-DC converter is based on a synchronous buck topology. In this topology, an internal high-frequency switching regulator is employed, in which a switching transistor controls the output voltage of the converter.
