RY-0924S application field and working principle

Working Principle

The RY-0924S DC-DC converter consists of three main parts: the input voltage source, the voltage regulating feedback control circuit, and the output windings. When the input voltage is within the rated range, the voltage regulating feedback control circuit works to regulate and convert the input voltage into the output voltage. The output voltage depends on the feedback control circuit, which compares the output voltage and the feedback voltage, then drives the switching transistor to adjust the output voltage, so the regulation of the output voltage is very precise.

The output voltage of the RY-0924S DC-DC converter is determined two factors: the input voltage of the input voltage source and the feedback of the feedback control circuit. The input voltage source is provided by two motor generators consisting of inductive flybacks or winding coils in series, so the input voltage ranges of the DC-DC converter can be adjusted by changing the output from the two motor generators.

The feedback control circuit is made up of opto-coupled voltage comparators interfaced directly with the PWM control circuit, which compares the measured output voltage against a reference voltage. The correctional pulses are sent from the PWM controller to the voltage regulating feedback control circuit, so that the minimum adjustments can be made. The output voltage is then able to achieve the voltage regulation accuracy specified by the design.
