Furthermore, the S-8215AAH-K8T2U supports one-time programming , and all of the timing settings of the PMIC can be changed without hardware modifications.In terms of operation and control, the S-8215AAH-K8T2U PMIC is configured using a proprietary I2C/SMBus-compatible interface. In an application, one of these pins can be configured as a reset pin, allowing a host controller to configure the chip at initialization. In addition, the S-8215AAH-K8T2U supports a wide range of voltage inputs, which allows it to be used in a variety of battery-powered applications.The S-8215AAH-K8T2U PMIC provides an efficient and reliable solution for battery management applications. It integrates a variety of safety and protection features, including overcharge/discharge protection, reverse current detection, over-current limitation and thermal protection.
