2. Working Principle
The working principle of S-8264AAA-T8T1G PMIC is to convert a wide range of input voltage to stable and independent voltage output for different components. Take a 4-channel setup as an example:Firstly, a buck converter is used to convert a 5V input into lower regulated output of 1.8V, and then two LDOs, 3.3V and 1.8V, convert the output into 3.3V and 1.8V respectively. And at the same time, the OCP starts converting back the excessive current from the buck converter, 4.2V buck converter and 4.2V LDO, so that the system will not be damaged by short-circuit and over current. Finally, BOTP is used to prevent over charging of the battery and achieve a complete and stable system.
