Working Principle of SC10471KT

SC10471KT adopts advanced anisotropic magnetic material and magnetic transmission technology. The device is mainly constructed by two electrodes, two core blocks, magnetic gap and two end-cap parts. Two core blocks are nonmagnetic and their surfaces are plated. The leads are also fixed on two core blocks.

When a current is passed in the reverse direction, the direction of the magnetic field generated by the current is opposite to the direction of the magnetic field of the core block, since the two are in the opposite direction, the magnetic field will be cancelled and the device will be in neutral state. As a result, the voltage drop across the inductor will be minimal.

When a current is passed in the forward direction, the direction of the magnetic field generated by the current and the direction of the magnetic field of the core block will be the same , because of this, the magnetic field generated by the two will be superimposed and due to this the voltage drop across the inductor will be maximized, thus the device will be in the active state.
