This creates reliable connection and eliminates the need for soldering or crimping. Also, the contact points of the connector are covered and protected by heat shrinkable material that provides additional protection against shocks and impacts.

Thanks to the insertion force provided by SDL-115-G-12, the contact is strongly and securely held in the mating position of the socket. This ensures reliable contacts without external force. The insulation displacement contact works with Pre-stripped wires with AWG sizes of 22 to 28.
