SDL-133-TT-12 Application Field and Working Principle

The SDL-133-TT-12 is part of the SDL Series of rectangular connectors from Amphenol. It is a single-row male and female connector system that is commonly used in industrial automation and control systems, as well as RF/Microwave applications. It is also suitable for use in low-to-medium-power signal, power, and data transmission.

The SDL-133-TT-12 male and female connectors feature a rectangular design with 12 pins on a 2.54mm pitch. The connectors are made of an aluminum alloy die-cast housing and a push or snap-lock plastic-molded clip. The contact system consists of phosphor bronze with gold plating.

The male and female connectors are connected by pushing them together and then securing them with the plastic clip. When properly connected, the two connectors form an electrical and mechanical connection, ensuring both reliable data and power transmission.

The SDL-133-TT-12 connectors are rated to carry up to 5 Amps of current with an operating temperature range of -40-105°C. They are also resistant to vibration, dust, and corrosion, making them suitable for a variety of industrial applications.
