  • Constant Current State: Input Current = Output Current

In the constant voltage state, when the input voltage changes, the output voltage also changes to maintain equilibrium. Further, in the constant current state, the input current is controlled by a feedback loop so as to keep its value equal to the output current. This creates a steady output voltage.
