It is designed to adhere to various industry standards, making this connector a popular choice among board to board applications.The SM-08-2-A-K-TR series is a high performance mezzanine type connector that is usually used as a function or device interconnect in data, telecom, industrial automation, and instrumentation systems. It has two polarizers on each side, allowing devices with different polarization edges to be connected. Additionally, two polarization fixtures are provided for mating and polarization alignment. The SM-08-2-A-K-TR series is rated for 1.5A per individual contact and can be used for mated/unmated connections up to 3.0A per contact.
