SEN-09416 is a radio-frequency identification (RFID) transponder that operates in the 860 MHz to 960 MHz region. It is suitable for wide range of products such as ID cards, asset tracking wallets, security passes, library tags, and many more. Its integrated antenna allows for easy transmission and reception of radio waves for majority of RFID applications.

The transponder is based on a passive RFID system, meaning it does not require an external power source to work. Instead, it gets its power from the ac-couple waves sent by an RFID reader. This capability in-creases the robustness and flexibility of the transponder, allowing it to be extensively used for a range of applications.

The SEN-09416 transponder is structured in two layers. The first layer is an antenna which is integrated into the transponder, allowing it to receive and transmit radiofrequency signals. The second layer is comprised of a silicon chip that contains a unique identification number (UID) of the transponder. The UID is different from other trans-ponders and cannot be altered or damaged. This ensures that the transponder can be reliably used for identification and tracking.

The working principle of the SEN-09416 transponder relies on the ac-coupling of radio waves sent by the RFID reader. When the radio waves pass by the transponder, it captures the wave energy and uses it to power its internal circuit. The built-in antenna of the transponder then sends out a response signal, which is read by the reader and used to identify the transponder.

This RFID transponder is designed for a variety of application fields, such as asset tracking, access control systems, and library management. In asset tracking, the UID of the trans-ponder allows it to identify and track different assets such as personal effects, inventory, and even vehicles. In access control systems, it can be used to authenticate and authorise the access of buildings, offices, and other areas. Similarly, it can be used in library management for registering books, tracking their locations, and streamlining the checkout process.
