SEN0079 is a low cost digital light sensor which can precisely measure ambient light intensity. It is a simple, easy-to-use and robust sensor which is suitable for a wide range of applications. The original version was released by Avago Technologies in 2015, and has since been improved upon with the introduction of SEN0079x series of sensors.
