SF-HC application field and working principle

SF-HC is an abbreviation of SF series High Current Switch, which is a kind of modular-style high-current switch developed by Xingsheng Company. It is used for high-current load control of thick film heater, motor, washer, and oil pump in home appliances and electrical appliances. Generally, the working current of the Starvation Heat Cable (SF-HC) is about 5A-150A, and the operating voltage is 250V～400VAC.

I. Application Fields

• SF-HC can be used for the remote control of electric griller, electric oven, electric rice cooker, electric kettle, electric water heater, electric fan, and electric pump in home appliances.
• Applicable to medical equipment, mechanical power equipment, office automation, lighting equipment and other high-current electrical equipment.

II. Working Principle

The short circuit, overcurrent, overvoltage, and overheat protection functions of SF-HC are based on its own circuit design and structural design, and each function is realized by the mutual coordination of each core component, so that the electrical equipment can be used safely and reliably. The working principle of SF-HC is as follows:

• The electrical current reaches the rated current of the switch quickly. At this time, the temperature switch and the fuse in the switch are activated.
• When the current is higher than the rating, the temperature switch trips the switch and opens the circuit.
• As the temperature of the switch rises, the temperature switch and the fuse in the switch are activated.
• The contact of the temperature switch passes the signal to the electronic control switch, which trips the switch and opens the circuit.
• After the overcurrent, the reset circuit is established, and the switch returns to its original working state.
