Oscillators
SG-710ECK 50.0000MC3 is an oscillator designed for precise frequency control. It offers low noise, accuracy and wide operating temperature range. It is ideal for providing precision timing for digital systems and applications.
Application Field
This oscillator can be used in a wide range of applications. It is suitable for use in high frequency applications, such as for modulating and demodulation of signal like GPRS, EDGE, and WCDMA etc. It can be also used to control clock frequency and for timing control in digital systems. Additionally, it is also suitable for broadcast, broadcasting and radiofrequency applications. This oscillator can also be used in instrumentation, aerospace and defense industries.
Working Principle
The SG-710ECK 50.0000MC3 works on a Pierce Oscillator principle, wherein the oscillation is maintained by a loop comprising a capacitively loaded PN junction diode, a resistor, a negative resistance balun, and an active device such as amplifier or varactor providing a sawtooth waveform. The active device applies the voltage to the capacitively loaded PN junction diode, initiating a current pulse. This current pulse is applied to the resistor, creating across it a voltage which is opposite in phase to the input pulse. This phase difference causes an increase or decrease in the current which has the effect of controlling the amplitude of the output. This output is then fed back to the active device, causing it to reset each time, thus maintaining the loop at the optimum frequency.
SG-710ECK 50.0000MC3 is an excellent oscillator which offers maximum performance and accuracy when it comes to precision timing applications. It has wide temperature range and low noise, making it ideal for use in applications involving high frequency signals.
