It is a high performance and cost-effective oscillator in a compact 5.0mm×3.2mm SMD package. It is designed for industrial and communication applications. The SG-8002CA utilizes a four-ring oscillator technology, consisting of four temperatures-compensated quartz crystal resonators and five active components. It has excellent aging characteristics, low power consumption and small package size. The output type can be selected according to the application, including LVCMOS, HCMOS, LVDS, CML, CMOS, and other options. It features low jitter, wide operating temperature range of -30°C to +85°C, and a Tri-state function.The SG-8002CA is well suited for a wide range of applications, including digital communications, clock/data recovery, signal synchronization, clock signal distribution, and other clock generation applications. It can also be used for ambient temperature control, such as closed-loop temperature compensation of temperature sensors, as well as noise reduction in automotive applications and audio devices.The working principle of the SG-8002CA is based on the principle of mechanical vibration. The high frequency crystal is driven by an oscillator circuit that is designed to resonate the crystal at its design frequency. The circuit continually drives the crystal, which in turn generates an output at the desired frequency.The SG-8002CA has a programmable output frequency range of 22.1184MHz ±50ppm over a temperature range of -40°C to +85°C. The total frequency stability is up to ±100ppm over a temperature range of -20°C to +70°C. The output level can be adjusted by a wide range of output voltage ratios ranging from class 1 to class 6. It also features low jitter, wide operating temperature range of -30°C to +85°C, and a Tri-state function.
