Working Principle
SG-8018CG 48.000000 MHZ TJHSB oscillators are based on a quartz crystal resonator and the same basic circuit design as a normal oscillator, but with additional stages to stabilize the gain. The crystal oscillator is composed of an electrical oscillator circuit and a quartz crystal that can self-oscillate. It works on the principle of the piezoelectric effect. The vibrations of the quartz crystal generate an electric field when subjected to an electrical current. This electric field is then used to generate a signal.
The quartz crystal acts like a tuning fork and maintains the frequency of the oscillator circuit over a wide range of temperatures. The temperature compensation is accomplished by an internal temperature sensor used to calculate the voltage difference between the crystal oscillator and the reference control voltage. This difference is then used to adjust the frequency of the output signal.
Additionally, these TCXO ICs feature temperature compensation over a wide temperature range by using a pair of transistors to generate a negative slope control voltage which is applied to the oscillator circuit. This provides improved stability and low power consumption, while also reducing the sensitivity to temperature variations.
SG-8018CG 48.000000 MHZ TJHSB oscillators provide high performance with low power consumption, making them ideal for applications that require reliable timing in a variety of temperature ranges.
