The working principle of the SG-9101CA-D40PHCAC is based on a digital frequency technology. This technology is integrated with a voltage-controlled oscillator and a frequency-locked loop (FLL). The oscillator is characterized by high precision, high stability and low phase noise. The FLL is used to achieve ultra-precise frequency adjustment. The SG-9101CA-D40PHCAC integrated digital frequency technology achieves a frequency resolution of 8~10mHz, compared with the traditional programmable oscillator ,its resolution is far higher.

In addition, the SG-9101CA-D40PHCAC adopts a temperature-controlled crystal oscillator (TCXO) technology, and software-selectable frequency division methods are used to divide the main oscillator output frequency. The divide-by-2 and divide-by-4 types can be used in different applications. Thus, compared with the traditional programmable oscillator the SG-9101CA-D40PHCAC will have more excellent performance and stabler output frequency.
