The SG-9101CE-C15SHACA is aprogrammable oscillator module that provides an accurate, low-jitter source. It operates with an external quartz crystal, offering a wide programmable frequency range from 0Hz to 48MHz. The convenient three-wire configuration allows easily adjustable frequency tuning, enabling clock rates to dynamically change in real time without the need for external components. The SG-9101CE-C15SHACA provides a frequency stability of ±0.1 ppm over the full temperature range and ±15ppb over the full supply voltage range.

The SG-9101CE-C15SHACA also features a built-in frequency offset control, which gives it great flexibility in system designs with multiple clock sources. Using a frequency offset and an external clock signal, multiple independent frequencies may be generated from a single reference. This makes it an ideal option for multiple outputs, such as for high speed datacom applications.

The SG-9101CE-C15SHACA operates via an internal binary counter and an external crystal oscillator. It is, however, configurable through two ports. An external resistor and capacitor combination form an on-chip tank circuit, enabling adjustment of the internal current consumption of the oscillator and the AC characteristics, while an external capacitor sets the frequency accuracy. When a programmable frequency range is desired, the oscillator module can precisely adjust the internal current consumption. While tuning the frequency, the SG-9101CE-C15SHACA calculates the desired frequency, fine tunes the oscillator frequency and tests the external crystal frequency to ensure the consistency and accuracy of the frequency output.

The SG-9101CE-C15SHACA provides single-output frequencies up to 48MHz, and is available in a range of interfaces and packages, including an SMA and MCV/MIL/MP packages. It also meets the requirements of Industrial specification 12 volt and 5 volt power supply; RoHS compliant; Conforming to ABNT, DIN, and IEC standards; Compliant to mil-prf-17112; Low power consumption; and low jitter.
