The optional programmable output buffer provides additional signal isolation and stability. The SG-9101CE-D05PGCAB has two primary modes of operation. The first mode of operation is the “static” mode in which the oscillator is programmed with a predetermined frequency and DC voltage. In this mode, the oscillator’s frequency is not frequency- or voltage-modulated. The second mode of operation is the “dynamic” mode in which the oscillator is programmed to accept a continuous input frequency sweep or DC voltage control. In this mode, the oscillator’s frequency and/or DC voltage can be modulated. The SG-9101CE-D05PGCAB is conveniently configured and controlled with a 3-wire serial interface. This allows for configuration and control of the oscillator in both static and dynamic modes. The 3-wire interface is also capable of autonomously controlling the oscillator’s frequency and voltage range with a master clock. In order to ensure highest performance and reliability, the SG-9101CE-D05PGCAB is constructed with a combination of advanced processes and technologies. The chip utilizes low noise, ultra low jitter, high-precision timing circuit technology, a fast switching regulator for low power consumption, and a thermal protection circuit for over-temperature protection.The SG-9101CE-D05PGCAB is an ideal solution for applications that require a programmable oscillator with high performance, reliability, and low power consumption. Its wide frequency range and precision timing control make it suitable for a variety of applications. It is an excellent choice for tasks such as clock synchronization, signal generation and control, data conversion and motor control.
