The device is suitable for use in a variety of applications, such as automotive, medical, industrial and consumer electronics.The SG-9101CG-D30PGDAA uses a digital-output architecture that allows for easy software control of the output frequency and duty cycle. The device achieves up to 4 GHz of output frequency range with 1Hz resolution and an output frequency accuracy of ±100 ppm over a temperature range of -40 °C to +85 °C. The operating voltage range is from 3.3 V to 5.0 V.The programmable oscillator consists of two main parts: the output frequency generator and the programmable logic engine. The frequency generator is responsible for generating a precision output frequency. It processes an input frequency reference, typically an oscillator or crystal, and generates a precise output frequency at the touch of a button. The output frequency can be adjusted in the range of 1 kHz to 4 GHz.The programmable logic engine (PLE) is the core component of the programmable oscillator. It allows the user to program in a variety of different operations, greatly increasing the versatility of the device. These include phase-locked loop operations, phase/frequency modulation, frequency/duty cycle modulation and a wide range of other functions. The PLE comes with a number of built-in functions that can be used to program custom behavior. These include a programmable frequency counter, programmable duty cycle generator, programmable phase detector and filter, programmable counter and frequency divider, and a programmable digital-to-analog converter. The PLE offers considerable flexibility for customizing the device for different applications.In addition to programming the output frequency, the output power of the programmable oscillator can also be adjusted. It features an adjustable output power range of 5 mW to 200 mW. This feature allows the device to be used in a variety of different applications, such as wireless communication systems, data links, microwave ovens and medical equipment.The SG-9101CG-D30PGDAA programmable oscillator offers excellent performance and versatility.
