Working Principle of SHF-117-01-L-D-RA-TR

SHF-117-01-L-D-RA-TR is a single-row, low-profile, right angle, through-hole, solder termination connector that carries an electrically conductive contact pin through an insulated housing. It generally consists of a receptacle (female) connector for the host PCB and a plug (male) connector for the device PCB. The plug (male) connector is designed to mate with the receptacle (female) connector on the host PCB.

When connecting the SHF-117-01-L-D-RA-TR, the plug-in contact pin and the receptacle-in contact pin should be aligned with a certain distance. Then the plug-in contact pin will be inserted into the B-groove along the pressing direction, and it will be engaged after being counter-pressed. Finally, the two side tabs of the plug-in contact pin will be butt-welded with the A-groove of the receptacle-in contact pin. After completing the welding, the assembly of the connector is completed.
