Working Principle

If the output voltage is higher than the desired output then the current in the inductor is increased and the output voltage is adjusted accordingly. In COT mode, the MOSFET is enabled for a specific amount of time and then disabled for a specific amount of time, with the ratio of on time to off time remaining constant. This constant on time control helps to provide fast transient response and maintain the output voltage within the desired range.
