SI-8105QL is an advanced DC-DC switching regulator for the system in package (SIP) market with an integrated buck and load switch. This device is specifically designed to offer a much higher level of integration and system performance in a cost-effective board space solution. It is especially suitable for applications in the field of computing, communication and consumer electronics where power supply design is challenging due to the highly optimized space constraints.
The SI-8105QL is a DC-DC switcher with an integrated buck and load switch. It has a wide input voltage range, wide buck output voltage range, fixed frequency operation, fast transient response, low standby power, high switching frequency and high efficiency.
The buck can provide an adjustable output voltage from 0.6V to 15V when used in a step-down configuration. It also has a wide input voltage range from 2.5V to 28V, operating frequency range of 100 kHz to 2MHz, and high current output capability of up to 10A.
The integrated load switch is a serial N-channel MOSFET with an on-resistance of 50 mΩ max. It has a maximum continuous current of 5A, breakdown voltage up to 28V and peak current of 10A.
In addition, the SI-8105QL provides a wide array of protection features. This includes over voltage protection (OVP), over current protection (OCP), over temperature protection (OTP), short-circuit protection (SCP) and reverse current protection (RCP).
