This IC is ideal for applications requiring a high-performance signal interface between analog and digital systems. The SI3205-B-FS can be used in cellular handsets, wireless networks, VoIP solutions, digital audio systems, and wireless monitoring applications for switching and transmission of audio signals, monitoring, and reconfiguration. Additionally, the SI 3205-B-FS is used in telecommunications, medical, instrumentation, and audio systems requiring a reliable, low-cost solution for signal processing. The SI3205-B-FS also provides a variety of switched capacitor filters, low-pass, high-pass, notch, and band-pass. Additionally, the integrated voltage output or current sources enable level control and rate control of the signal. Working PrincipleThe SI3205-B-FS integrates an on-chip, high-performance signal processing channel, an analog-to-digital converter, and a digital-to-analog converter. The digital-to-analog converter is used for input processing, digitally-controlled filtering, and controlling of digital signal parameters. The analog-to-digital converter is used for output processing, controlling of analog signal parameters, and digitally-controlled filtering. Additionally, the on-chip signal processing channel is used for signal transmission, monitoring, and conversion of the signal for transmission, reception, and distribution. The integrated voltage output or current sources are used for level control and rate control of the signal.
