Programmable Oscillators are versatile and highly-configurable circuitry which can generate any desired output waveform, provided suitable input signals are pre-programmed according to the desired output waveform. They are commonly used in applications such as radar, frequency modulation (FM), phase-locked loops (PLL), frequency synthesizers, audio processing and many more. The SIT1602ACT3-33E is a high-performance and flexible programmable oscillator designed for precision and versatile frequency generation. It contains an embedded programmable oscillator integrated circuit which can be programmed to achieve the desired output waveform in multiple frequency, phase and preset performance settings.The SIT1602ACT3-33E is composed of a phase-locked loop (PLL) circuit, a voltage-controlled oscillator (VCO), an automatic frequency control (AFC) circuit, and a digital programmable frequency divider (FPD). The PLL circuit allows the SIT1602ACT3-33E to accurately maintain the desired frequency, while the VCO functions to adjust the output frequency as needed. The AFC circuit provides fine frequency adjustments which further enhance accuracy. It also monitors the VCO frequency and keeps it within a specific range. Finally, the FPD is used to divide the VCO output frequency by a programmable divider which further controls the waveform output.The SIT1602ACT3-33E is ideal for a number of applications such as telecommunications, automotive, test and measurement, consumer electronics, biomedical instruments and much more. Due to its programmability, it can offer a high level of flexibility and customization to satisfy the requirements of different users.In terms of performance, the SIT1602ACT3-33E has an excellent frequency resolution of 1kHz and a wide frequency range of 10kHz~100MHz. The output waveforms can be programmed to generate sinusoidal, square or triangular waveforms through an integrated Non-Volatile Memory (NVM). The SIT1602ACT3-33E is also capable of providing two digital control pins to output digital signals from 8 cyclically operated on/off outputs.The SIT1602ACT3-33E is designed to generate high-accuracy and high-quality signal outputs for applications that require precise timing, frequency and waveform accuracy. This advanced programmable oscillator is extremely reliable, making it a great choice for a variety of applications.
