Programmable oscillators are oscillators designed to provide an adjustable wave output. The SIT1602AIA3-28S is one such oscillator. The VCO core consists of an oscillation device, such as a complimentary metal-oxide-semiconductor (CMOS) device, that is configured to generate waves of a predetermined frequency.
