Programmable oscillators are a type of oscillator which can be used for frequency generation and control applications, providing a flexible and stable way to generate and control the frequency of the output signal. SIT1602AIF7-30E is one such programmable oscillator which utilizes a charge-pump circuit to generate the output frequency.

SIT1602AIF7-30E features a 25MHz internal frequency source, from which an external frequency up to 30MHz can be derived. This oscillator provides a wide range of programmable and adjustable output frequency, from 2.5 to 30MHz, with an operating frequency accuracy of ±2.5% to ±5%. The programmable frequency resolution is 1kHz.

An onboard PLL circuit controls the output frequency, and is used together with a crystal oscillator, a charge-pump circuit and frequency divider. The oscillator suffers only a small jitter and phase noise when running at high frequencies.The power consumption of this oscillator is comparatively low, with the VCC current consumption being just 60mA at maximum.

The SIT1602AIF7-30E oscillator is an ideal component for application in a wide range of user-defined oscillators and frequency controlling applications, due to its programmable output frequency range and low phase noise. It can be used in cordless telephones, cellular radios, Bluetooth devices, and in audio frequency basics which require low noise from the output signal. The oscillator is also suitable for analog and digital frequency synthesis, clock generation, and as clock generator for other devices.

The SIT1602AIF7-30E oscillator features an on board output power amplifier, providing up to 13dBm of output power. This amplifier helps in supplying the load current, and is especially useful when driving RF and microwave systems. The oscillator is supplied with a 8-Pin leaded package, and its low power consumption, combined with its high temperature stability and accuracy make it one of the most efficient and reliable programmable oscillators on the market.
