Programmable oscillators are widely used in many different applications, from radiofrequency and microwave to industrial automation and medical applications. The SIT1602AIT8-18E is a versatile programmable oscillator designed to meet the needs of various high frequency applications.The SIT1602AIT8-18E is a state-of-the-art programmable oscillator, featuring low phase noise (less than -160 dBc/Hz) and low jitter (< 100 femto second RMS). It is capable of operating in a wide range of frequency ranges, from 0.1 MHz to 18 GHz. It is also available in a variety of packaging options, including SMD, Ceramic, and Standard Packages.The frequency is programmable by means of digital code. This oscillator can easily be programmed using the PC or with the optional Remote Programming Interface (RPI) accessory. It also has an integrated frequency counter, allowing for precision frequency setting and system calibration.The SIT1602AIT8-18E is designed for use in a wide variety of applications, including wireless communication systems, microwave radio communications, satellite and radar systems, medical imaging and ultrasound applications, instrumentation and test systems, air-traffic control systems, and military and aerospace applications.The SIT1602AIT8-18E is built on a load-driven oscillator topology with a quartz tuning element. The oscillator has two push-pull transistors, with the feedback signal being measured by the ratio of source and sink currents. This topology allows for very precise frequency stability and low phase noise.The SIT1602AIT8-18E has an integrated temperature sensor which covers a wide temperature range, from -40°C to 100°C. This feature allows for precise control of the frequency over the entire operating range of temperatures. This programmable oscillator also has the option of adding onboard crystals for precise frequency control.The SIT1602AIT8-18E has an integrated signal generator, allowing for fast and easy testing of circuits and systems. It also has an internal 10MHz reference oscillator, as well as a low power consumption design which helps to reduce power consumption and cost.The SIT1602AIT8-18E is a versatile, high performance programmable oscillator that can meet the needs of a wide range of applications.
