Working Principle of SIT1602BC-72-XXE-25.000625D Oscillator

SIT1602BC-72-XXE-25.000625D oscillator generates an output frequency and accurate signal by exploiting micro-electromechanical systems (MEMS) technology. By utilizing the principle of electrostatic transduction, an MEMS capacitor upon a MEMS resonator oscillates. A transistor within the MEMS resonator monitors the frequency of the oscillations and generates the output signal. The main advantage of MEMS oscillator is that it has a wide dynamic tuning range. MEMS oscillators requires a quartz tuning fork, which provides a stable frequency. The quartz tuning fork is designed with a crystal resonator with two parallel prongs.
