Working principle

The working principle of SIT1602BC-81-28E-75.000000Y oscillator is based on the oscillator’s quartz crystal-based frequency control. This type of oscillator is actually a voltage-controlled crystal oscillator (VCXO) composed of seven logic gates, the quartz crystal, an oscillator amplifier, a complementary transistors pair and a buffer. The oscillator tends to control the output frequency by adjusting the crystal crystal frequency. Its logic gates are capable to select the input mode for regulating the signal output frequency.

The oscillator is equipped with a frequency tuning capability which allows adjustment in the range of about 100~1000 KHz. Thus, when the signal input is varied, the crystal frequency is varied in the same proportion. The oscillating frequency is then changed and this is how the oscillator is able to control and stabilize the frequency at any specified level.
