SIT1602BCE1-30S delivers outstanding frequency stability by digitally locking the external crystal oscillator to the frequency. It also offers wide-range frequency extremes such as 14 MHz to 300 MHz and 0.1Hz to 2MHz. In addition, it has excellent jitter characteristics with an intrinsic 50 ps peak-to-peak jitter.

The working principle of the SIT1602BCE1-30S is based on a simple closed loop system which uses a voltage-controlled crystal oscillator (VCXO), phase-detectors and loop filters to provide precise frequency control. Essentially, the phase-detectors compare two incoming signals, the input clock and the VCXO output. The output of the phase-detector is used to adjust the frequency of the VCXO in order to bring in sync with the input clock. This is done by controlling the voltage on the Crystal oscillator through the loop filter.

The SIT1602BCE1-30S also employs an advanced digital locked loop technology to ensure high accuracy and frequency synchronization. This is done by utilizing high-speed algorithms to process and monitor the frequency stability and accuracy of the oscillator. The SIT1602BCE1-30S can switch between the input and output signals, both in real-time and in stored away state.
